Editors’ Notes Tiesto's done it all—almost. With a career that spans two decades, the superstar DJ was there for the dawn of EDM and has played to crowds of millions in nearly every club in the known universe. And yet, A Town Called Paradise is his first studio album for a major label. It's also a stylistic departure: venturing away from the synthetic trance of previous efforts, Paradise features guest vocals from the likes of Icona Pop and American Authors' Zac Barnett, as well as pianos, guitars, and even a few live drums. "Wasted" has a quirky '80s charm to it, while the single "Red Lights," with a soaring chorus and playful electric guitar, is Tiesto's first American radio single. Not surprisingly, dubstep deviants Krewella blow off the roof on "Set Yourself Free."
