An album to live with...

Purchased from a bargain music bin four years ago James Hindle's Prospect Park was largely ignored even during the first year of my ownership. What a mistake. From the chiming guitars of "Leaving Trains", the lyrical brillance of "Hoboken" to the waltzing shuffle of "Country Song" this is a mix of folk and Americana that could only be achieved by a visitor's romance with our shores. If the strength of this album is not yet apparent, keep in mind that two of Hindle's strongest tracks "Celebration" and "Park Slope Song" close this elegant collection. Impress your friends, upgrade your mixes, this is an album to own.
