EDITORS’ NOTES

It’s easy to understand how this multi-ethnic, multi-gender band lit up MTV playlists and worldwide charts in the early to mid-’80s; their colorful, dance-ready ditties drew from a wide swath of influences, including reggae, calypso, and new wave pop. Their first hits—“Lies” and “Love on Your Side”—helped bring synth-pop to America, while the massive ballad “Hold Me Now” swooned a million teenaged hearts in 1983 and 1984. A deeper listen reveals the trio’s love of R&B and funk—and their often understated, theme-heavy lyrics—especially on later tunes like “Get That Love.” This collection includes all of the band’s singles from 1982 to 1987.

I'M THE TRIPLET!

I have loved The T T 's since first time I saw them on MTV in the early 80's. I loved their sound following in the footsteps of The Human League. I wish they would reform. This is a pretty well packaged *Best Of* only song really missing is their last top 40 song that never reached chart success which was called *SUGAR DADDY* and of course ITUNES doesnt even have their last album in the states. Go figure!

Because..

The reason "Sugar Daddy' was not on this album is beause, it's the Arista collection. Sugar Daddy from the album "Big Trash" was released on Warner Bros.
