As she explained on Beats 1, there’s plenty of joy in chapter two. “Imaginary Friend,” a song about a gut feeling, was born in a moment of crushing self-doubt. “Whenever someone tells me I can’t do something, it tells me it’s definitely possible,” she said. "I’m thankful for that.”
