18 Songs, 1 Hour 18 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

Celebration is a befitting retrospective for the shapeshifting international icon. Every era, every reinvention, every musical nuance is captured here, from the '80s gleam of "Holiday" and "Like a Virgin" to the ghetto-fab swagger of "Music" and the embrace of dance music culture ushered in by "Ray of Light."

Great singles, terrible sequencing

I'm a longtime fan as well, but how can I be the only one to find the song order in this set and especially the 2-CD set terrible and nonsensical. Of course we all make our own playlists, but how does an executive producer or record company place "Like a Prayer" after "Into the Groove"? Or even worse "Material Girl" after "Frozen"? I realize it's a retrospective, but if you're not going to sequence chronologically (which would have been best) then at least put production styles together. Regardless there's no denying these are all great singles with the exception of the subpar "Celebration" track. Fantastic to finally have a remastering of the original and best version of "Into the Groove" which I still find her most joyous, enduring track.

QUEEN OF POP IS BACK!!!!

I am a huge Madonna fan and I think this album goes to show hoe many years she's been in the music industry and how many hits she's had and continuing to have. She really is the Queen of Pop!!! Buy Celebration peoples!!! :D :D :D

this is a smaller version of the 2disc album...it is enjoyable in a more compact version.
