EDITORS’ NOTES

Drumma Boy was born and raised in Memphis, where his mother and father were professional musicians (an opera singer and clarinetist, respectively). In college he started a music career of his own as a beatmaker, often combining classical influences with contemporary Southern club rap. He eventually moved to Atlanta and founded the Drum Squad coalition, which includes both his own indie label and production company. Since then, he's worked with just about every power player you can think of, from OGs like Scarface and Bun B to new-schoolers like Drake, Wale, and Plies. Over the last few years, he's racked up a gang of trophies (from BET, Ozone, and Southern Entertainment Awards), produced multiple platinum singles, and appeared on several reality shows. On the second edition of Welcome to My City, he enlists some of the biggest names in the business to accompany his productions, including Three Six Mafia homies Juicy J and DJ Paul, 8 Ball & MJG, Philly favorite Beanie Sigel, femme fatale Gangsta Boo, and many more. Don't miss "M.E.M.P.H.I.S.," "My City on Lock," and "Hood on Smash."

Parental Advisory: Explicit Lyrics.

Amazing...Classic hands down!!!

Entire album/lyrical content /beats banging from start to finish!!! Drumma Boy shows that his skills extend far beyond being one of the hottest producers in hip-hop...period! Was skeptical but clearly he's proven he is an MC/lyricist & it shows!!! Slept-on...good to put a face with the beats!!
