Album of the year

Iamamiwhoami music not only brings personal meanings to their videos and songs, but invite ourselves into a journey where we connect ideas and let music and imagery speak to us: that is the amazingness of their work. Their anonimity contributes a lot to that, making me believe that they are true artists in its pure form. Not only Jonna, but the whole team: the producers, video directors, etc made what turned 9 incredible and distinct songs and videos which may even represent Jonna Lee's folk and musical death and sink into a brand new world (evolution) into a great piece of work. Each track of this album resembles a different style that comes from trip hop, dream pop, experimental and ambient to a dancey 80's groove, which make me undecided even in writing a concrete review for this. All I can say is that Kin is definitely the album of the year, and iamamiwhoami team deserve my all: and I can fortunately say they can keep releasing more and more material to us as long as they evolve.

Really cool album

Originally released as a series of individual downloads, this is probably Jonna Lee's best effort yet. "Goods," "Kill," "Play" and "Sever" are standouts but really it's solid start-to-finish. Great to hear a different take on the alt-electronic style... very modern sounding.

Not a Jonna Lee Fan

What I mean by I'm not a fan is that I've never heard of Jonna Lee until this project. Having said that, this is music for my soul. I love how unconventional the music is, and the electronic-pop surface on all or most of the songs. It really gets the heart dancing before the body knows what to do.
