SNACK BREAK!

Oh yes.. Snack Break...

Suburban Legends has successfully meshed the greatness of Rump Shaker, the innovation of their newer music, and infused it with their ever-present high energy performances. This album has already become one of my favorites, and I've had it for about 30 minutes! Great horn lines, hilarious lyrics, and driving beats all combine to catapult Suburban Legends to one of the greatest ska bands of all time - can't wait to see the dances for these new songs in concert!!

Best Ska Album of 2012 (So Far...)

And I have a feeling it will be by the end. Besides Reel Big Fishys new album, this is it when it comes to third wave ska. These guys have refined their sound ten thousand times over since I saw them in a tiny bar in West Columbia South Carolina five years ago (that was the COOLEST show). They played "Under the Sea" that night, and I told the guys that they should put it on a studio album. They said "yeah maybe"....sounds amazing guys. They even a little reggae laid back jam at the end?, doesn't better than this (don't miss "Can't Stop"). "Emergency" is another stand out track, ska punk to the bone. The whole album is worth buying, especially since the re-recording of all the songs from "Going On Tour EP" sound amazing.
