Can’t wait to hear the rest

This makes me more excited to hear more because parts of it reminds me of Star Wars and that is awesome can’t wait to play it on repeat...

Giacchino at his best (and bombastic)

If you want that big, bold, grandiose orchestra that harkens back to the work of John Williams, then Michael Giacchino is your guy these days.

Jurassic World’s score was a good start, but Fallen Kingdom (much like the film itself) doesn’t just repeat, it evolves. From nostalgic strings to a full on choir selling the chaos, this score is big, loud, and bold.

Quite frankly I’d put it on par with Williams, if not maybe even higher.

Scattered and Uninspired

This score like the film’s soundtrack before it is all over the place. The themes are random and tepid, a choir tries to cover the lack of material and there isn’t one standout track in the bunch.

I still say Giacchino needs to stop taking on all these projects, but if he insists on trying to score every movie ever, he should stick with original IP’s like Pixar films and high concept sci fi and stay away from established franchises.
