Stretching his multiple-projects-a-year streak into a second decade, garage-rock guru Ty Segall rejoins White Fence songwriter Tim Presley for a pretty, fuzzed-out follow-up to 2012’s Hair. Like many of Segall’s projects, the sound is hippie but the attitude skews punk, tackling Byrds-like pop (“A Nod,” “Do Your Hair”), early Floyd (“Grin Without Smile”), and acoustic ballads (“My Friend”) with the casual zeal that has turned his fans into a small cult.
