Really growing on me with every listen

At first, I treated this 2010 album like any other previous Gerardo Frisina effort, but with each listen lately, I have been paying particular attention to the small touches that make each track stand out from a lot of "noise" we call music today.

A very decent outing with a number of tracks that you are sure to play over and over through the years -- most of the material is a not so subtle throwback to the Miami/Cuba influence, especially of the 60s era. Lots of AfroCuban beats as is Frisina's usual style. Nice piano work on many tracks. I have to say that in the absence of great electrojazz or any decent true jazz in 2010, this album is a standout. You will really enjoy it -- just preview the tracks.
