Samantah Fish"Chills & Fever"

True artists are not repeaters. Samantha Fish is trying new things. Accept that, keep an open mind and you'll find you'll actually like this. If you don't like it, don't buy it and move on. Spewing non-constructive comments has no point. Kudos to Mz. Fish for not staying stagnant.

Different? Yes. Bad Different? No

This release is different than what we've come to expect from our girl Sam but it is in no way bad. It's a normal progression any artist goes through and Samantha pulls it off magnificently. I can't wait to hear these songs live!

All the live show passion on an album

Anyone who has seen the Samantha Fish live show will talk about the passion that goes into the music. Here we see it on an album, and I can't wait to see this live. I was surprised my first time through, but in a great way. The extra layers, the horns, yet letting loose on the vocals and the guitar... Different but still great. Money to Burn will probably remain my favorite song, but I think Somebody's Always Trying is giving it a run for its money. This is a different sound, yet its showing the depth of what blues can bring, not just americana. This has nods to the blues classics that made me fall in love with the blues many years ago.
