The Salt Are Back!

With this year’s Record Store Day release, the original lineup stormed back into the public conscious with two rocking new tracks. For those fans not quick enough to snatch up the vinyl pressing, the iTunes release of It’s Holy and The Museum of Broken relationships is a welcome one. It’s Holy is a rollicking summer anthem and joyous tribute to the special chemistry the Nina, Louise, Steve, and Jim share. Add some huge production by Brad Wood and this power pop gem will jump out of your speakers. Hopefully the forthcoming full-length album will signal a “brand new day” for the band.

Celebration

If you loved the Salt in the nineties and regretted it when the band imploded, this reunion song is filled with so much joy at reuniting your mood will be elevated just by listening to it a couple of times. The video is a must-see for the same reason.
