17 Songs, 1 Hour 3 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

Shimmering, immersive, and buoyed by a light sense of melancholy throughout, Is the Is Are is filled with stunning purpose, distilling the jangly shoegaze outfit’s early sound into something atmospheric but focused—despite its palatial, 17-track length. Highlights (including “Dopamine,” “Is the Is Are,” and the aching “Mire (Grant’s Song)”) don’t break the mood so much as surface like moments of clarity in the middle of a dream.

Great follow up!

Ive heard many in my time but loved so few... This latest offering is lush! Great melodies with driving beats! Space rock done right! 🚀 fav song: Out of Mind

Different, but interesting!

After listening to Oshin for so long, it's nice to see that style of Diiv evolve into what it is now. Definitely a change in the right direction! 5 stars :)

Good album with almost all perfect tracks

Best album of 2016, nearly all 17 songs are perfect except for the one or two that aren't as good but still an amazing album as a whole.
