I love Saxon.

Who doesn't? But this is just one of those few albums where I believe the record companies got their claws in and forced Saxon donw the wrong road. However, the song Just Let Me Rock is a spectacular Saxon classic but is better rendered on the Crusador album imho. Also, perhaps Raise Some Hell, Give It Everything Youv'e Got and Do It All For You (also better on Crusader) show that the boys had the Saxon balls all along. They recovered later but with the exeption of a cut or two, this is not the place to introduce anyone to one of the greatest real rock bands of all time.

The Godless Fur Trapper ,

Metal Replaced By Schmalz

The decline that was noticeable in Crusader took an even stronger hold by this time. They get their nuts clipped by outside pressure/record company idiocy. The cliches take over, and Biff and the boys start wearing perfume for a few years. Not their best, by any stretch.
