You gotta be a certain type to enjoy this….

This genre of music, this forgotten, faded into the background kind of feel isn't for everyone. A lot of songs on this album are purely relaxing and euphoric, and a couple of them sound like they were thrown together or poorly mixed… but man, if you like indie films, old cameras, and live in a place like seattle, then you might truly appreciate the way Blue Foundation is expressing themselves. I personally love it, I've never heard of this band before and was just surfing around on iTunes and remembered this band produced the song "Eyes on Fire" and it was amazing, so i checked this album out and bought one song… then another…. then another… etc. Needless to say, it reminded me A LOT like Raised by Swans, but with more baselines and high pitched chords in the background that fade in and out. Its thought provoking, deep and almost spiritual… if that makes sense. Its not mainstream so sorry for those that stumbled upon here looking for an upbeat and happy album. Generally i would recommend this for those who don't have short attention spans, i could play this over and over again and not get tired, but others might. Enjoy :)
