EDITORS’ NOTES

An up-and-coming rapper from Atlanta, K Camp has been grinding for a while now; he first scored a local hit with "All Night" back in 2009. Indie mixtapes like SlumLords and Fan4Life increased his profile, as well as singles such as "Money Baby" (featuring Kwony Ca$h) and "Cut Her Off" with 2 Chainz, both included here. Stylistically, he's your standard-issue modern-day emcee, rhyming mostly about dominating the ladies, getting paid, and steady partying over a cacophony of interchangeable synth walls, gigantic low end, and skittering drums. What he lacks in originality he makes up for in female-friendly charisma, especially on the mega-smooth, vibraphone-laced love jam "Actin Up" and the snap- and guitar-infused "Blessing."
