Absolutely Perfect

I have been a Nightwish fan since I first heard "Once" back in high school. I was a music major, pursuing a degree in jazz performance on the trumpet. Their music appealed to me in so many ways I never thought possible, and it still does... when I heard Tarja had left I was quite upset. In the long run though it was for the better. If she hadn't left, Anette never would have come into the band. This album would have never been released. This album is absolutely stunning, perfect, and has some of the most insane musicianship I have EVER heard in my life. Definitely their best outing...

But be wary, there is much experimentation in this album. Older fans may not appreciate it if they go in with their minds closed. Give it a chance though, it's worth it.

Great

Tarja or no Tarja, Nightwish is still my favorite symphonic power metal band. It's Nightwish, plain and simple. The album flows beautifully and the musicianship is amazing.
