Ratings and Reviews
the new sound of musical theatre
this album is great. with songs that are hilarious, super smart, quirky, deeply introspective, surprising and soul-crushingly sad, any lover of musical theatre will love this.
and actors and actresses, get these songs in your audition books before everyone else has them!
Amazing! What a treat!
Rob is a genius. His songs are witty, a little whimsical, and full of raw emotion and spirit. This CD represents the best of the best from his robust songbook. I loved every track and listened to the album three times in a row just after purchasing yesterday.
If you love great song writing, contemporary musical theater, have a sense of humor, and enjoy music that makes you think, then "I'm Ready" is for you. And I'm not easy to please. So that means a lot. ;-)
Genius.
I cannot stop listening to this album. The music tells its own story underneath lyrics, the lyrics themselves are just ridiculously clever. And I don't know how he does it, but no matter which song it is, its relatable. There are so many feelings & I love them all. Thanks, Rob!
