21 Songs, 1 Hour 29 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

Celebrating two decades in the industry, Twenty is an extensive collection that includes new versions of many of Boyz II Men's classic hit singles, plus a grip of new original material (their first since 2007's The Remedy). The new songs make up the first half of the album, with highlights like the inspirational opener "Believe," "Benefit of a Fool," and the Charlie Wilson collaboration "More Than You'll Ever Know." The second half presents us with updated versions of landmark singles like "On Bended Knee" and "Motownphilly," as well as their much-loved cover of "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday" (originally by G.C. Cameron and featured in the Cosby/Poitier flick Cooley High). As a bonus, backing up their rich harmonies are some of the best producers in the biz. They reconnect with Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Babyface, Teddy Riley, and Tim & Bob, among others. If you're a fan from back in the day, this is an absolute must-have and proof that the Boyz just get better with time.

New music and it

Boyz II Men returns with all new material on TWENTY, their double disc album celebrating their 20 years in the music industry. They haven't had an album of all-new, original material since The Remedy in 2007 (Throwback, Motown, and Love were cover albums). The first single, "More Than You'll Ever Know" features Charlie Wilson. They sang "One More Dance" on the MDA Telethon and it was spectacular - classic Boyz II Men and destined to be another hit. The music video for "One Up For Love" was just released and has a rock-ish anthem vibe to go along with its message about love - love everyone all around the world. The second disc is all re-recordings of some of their own hits. The updates are sure to be hot! For this album they returned to their roots, so to speak. Babyface, Tim & Bob, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis wrote and/or produced songs on the album. While the Boyz never left, we can all rejoice in the return of original material, something fans have been clamoring for for many years. So, cheers to Boyz II Men for achieving 20 years in the music industry, and kudos on the album. We love you guyz more than you'll ever know.
