As ever, Rosenberg is most impactful when his songs are simple, like the achingly romantic “And I Love Her” (a love song you’ll wish was written just for you). Meanwhile, “Sweet Louise”’s meandering melody recalls his street-performer beginnings, and the twinkling pianos of “Lanterns” light the way home.
