Less blues more rock-good

I found JST on Pandora and I noticed a lot of tracks I like are from WILD. JST is an amazing guitarist and I like the fact that it's blues without sounding like the traditional "sad and morose" style blues is known for. Much has been made of her British accent. Personally I think Joanne is a stronger singer than some of the other blues women I have heard.

Great as Usual

The hard driving blues rock guitar is there, she always brings it. My favorite. This album is great, I believe because she has shown artistic talent in slightly different styles. She pulls it off completely. Summertime is a great example.

what happened??

Couldn't get enough of her first four albums & the songs from the road, but just can't get into this one. Something changed - this doesn't sound like the JST that I love to listen to - can't even get into a single song from Wild. This album sounds preppy, pop & canned, like she's been abducted & forced to do this by new handlers. There are dozens of artists that sound like this - completely void of soul. I'm sorry to be so harsh and she's still my favorite blues artist, but who is this & what have you done with the real JST??
