14 Songs, 55 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

Brandy Norwood was only 15 when her debut was released in 1994, but Brandy shows an artist wise beyond her years and ready to spread her wings. The singer's feather-light voice dips in and out of productions that blend hip-hop beats, shimmying soul, and pop sensibilities. Radio-ready gems like the teasing “I Wanna Be Down” and the wounded “Brokenhearted” balance Brandy’s light vocal touch with undeniable presence; her whispered determination on “I’m Yours” helps transform it into a love song for all ages.

not that bad!

I'm not usually a fan of older music like this is, but this is actually good. It was published before I was born, so I don't know who to recommend it to, but it's good. Especially Baby.

Good old R&B

Why is this album listed as rock?... Anyways this album brings back childhood memories. Anyone else remember the dance called "the bank head" as a kid me and my cousins use to do it all the time when the song Baby came on. Man I miss 90's music.
