Editors’ Notes Coming out of New York City, SWV (a.k.a. Coko, Taj, and LeLee) were discovered by Teddy Riley, and the trio hit the scene in 1992 with the triple-platinum debut album It's About Time. SWV had some huge singles (including "Weak," "I'm So into You," and the MJ-sampling "Right Here/Human Nature"), leading to three more albums and several more chart-topping hits. I Missed Us is their first album since 1997's somewhat forgettable A Special Christmas, and it shows that the ladies haven't lost a step since their glory days. From the jump-off single "Co-Sign" to the throwback party jam "Do Ya" (featuring Brianna Perry) and the contemplative title track, this is definitely a welcome and triumphant return for Sisters with Voices. If you were a fan back in the day, you'll dig it for sure. Yet even if you were too young the first time around, this is as good or better than most of today's modern R&B. Also check out "Time to Go," "Everything I Love," and "Love Unconditionally."
