I'll be honest

I'm a Child of the 60's, and I liked DC5 more than the Beatles and the Stones . . . . . . .

"I Like It Like That" - I Like It!

A good to very good album. This album would be second on my list next to "Weekend In London," but that's a matter of taste.

I am not too crazy about "Pumping," which is an instrumental, nor am I too crazy about "Goodbye My Friends,"although this is one album that I could listen to without skipping over any songs (unlike today's albums). "That's How Long Our Love Will Last," "A Little Bit of Love" and "Love Me" are, in my opinion, some of the best songs on the album and would be worth a separate purchase if you are not a die-hard Dave Clark Five fan and do not wish to purchase the whole album.

Note that three of the other songs on the album ("I Like It Like That," "I'll Be Yours My Love" and "I Need Love") are already on the "History" album.

Maybe at their peak.

This album and "Having A Wild Weekend" are my two favorites. By this time they had fully developed their own sound and studio techniques. Shortly after this they seemed to have begun putting their fingers up to see which way the musical wind was blowing. But here they are at what I consider their best. I know the DCV isn't for everybody but from my perspective get this album and "Having A Wild Weekend" to see what they were all about.
