1st Time I heard Betty Johnson......

Was roughly 35 to 37 years ago, when coming across an old portable turntable of my Father's and a stack of 45 RPM records. Names like Buddy Holly, The Supremes, The Beatles, and Betty Johnson's "Little Blue Man" on one side, and "1492" on the other. The Original recording was from Capitol Records ( I believe )....the label was black and silver. Got a big kick from the tempo of the song and the lyrics. I am very glad to have chanced upon this album with a good deal of Ms. Johnson's work. I had always wondered how the music sounded without all the "pops" and hissing that 45's and all records get after numberous spins, but that gives them "character".......love the clarity though! I don't think youll be disappointed!
