A Classic Rock Album

Santana firmly established itself as a world-class act with Abraxas. Every song enchants and evokes the spirit of a truly gifted guitarist and his multi-talented band. I've listened to it countless times and still enjoy it as one of my all-time favorites. Buy it. Listen to it. Enjoy it. Rejoice in being alive. Wow!

This is a great album but the track "Hope You're Feeling Better" seems to be missing the first few seconds. When I heard it originally, the opening Hammond organ lick is played twice and not once before the drums kick in. Please fix this!

It is now 2015, and I just listened to Abraxas for the first time from start to finish (oh sure, I heard the hits many times on the radio, but never listened to the whole album until now). As I have said, this is 2015, and Abraxas is one of the best albums I have ever heard, and it was recorded in 1970. Every song is great, but Samba Pa Ti is so emotionally satisfying that it brings tears to my eyes. I was it when on for 14 minutes instead of a little more than 4 minutes.
