an underrated album from an underrated band

BOLT THROWER are truly one of the greats in the grindcore genre. this album shows it. every song on this album is a killer and you can feel it crush you under its heaviness. my personal favorite is INSIDE THE WIRE, but whatever works for you.

Quite good

While this might not be Bolt Thrower's best offering, it's still quite good and worth listening to. Remember, it's the "least best" album by an incredible band, so it's not as if it's going to be outright terrible. Musically and composition-wise this definitely lives up to the usual Bolt Thrower standards, and the "new" vocalist everyone hates so much is fine, just different from Karl Willetts. My favorite tracks are "Contact Wait Out" and "Suspect Hostile" -- both get my head bobbing (at the least) every single time. Three and a half stars (rounded up) for being a solid, worthy release that I listen to regularly.
