Editors’ Notes Career counselors (aka “moms and dads”) everywhere have espoused that you only have one chance to make a good impression. Nine-member boy band CRAVITY (aka “Center of Gravity”) clearly listened for their on-point, on-tilt debut. “Top of the Chain” sets the tone and pace, a clear-the-lane statement dressed in bonkers EDM-pop. Their confidence crescendos on “Break All the Rules” and “JUMPER,” both high-octane thrillers. “Blackout” shows the rap line’s double-time rhyme skills (and an ODB “Shimmy Shimmy Ya” reference). On the softer side, “Star” and “Stay” are shimmering ballads, finding the boys yearning for supportive shoulders. CRAVITY didn’t just look before their debut leap, they went for the 360° dunk.
