13 Songs, 51 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

German industrial stalwarts KMFDM have been funnelling EBM heads to the dance floor for decades, and their 20th album, the cheekily titled HELL YEAH, finds them as brimming with bile as ever. Veering between acidic, breakbeat-driven workouts like “FAKE NEWS,” sensual synth-struts like “SHOCK,” and aggro, metal-tinged songs like the title track, HELL YEAH proves that even after 30 years, KMFDM haven’t lost their gnarly taste for rhythm.

KMFDM "Hell Yeah" - A return to form.

I realize I am a little late to the review cycle for this record...but just picked it up today, and already loving it. The last record (especially) felt like KMFDM-by-the-numbers, but this sounds like a modern version of the KMFDM I fell in love with back in the late 80's and early 90's.
Still acerbic, snarky, and ultra-heavy. Love it.
Thanks for still making music after all these years.

I'm liking the sound. Going back to their roots

Brilliant

One of their best albums. I'm in love again. Anyone out there that has the vinyl, try setting your table to 33 instead of 45. Sounds pretty awesome. It's like having 2 albums in one.
