20 Songs, 1 Hour 5 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

The musical version of the 1989 black comedy Heathers offsets its dark—and deadly—plot with sprightly, witty songs. Barrett Wilbert Weed, as tortured teen Veronica, gets to show off her rock bona fides on the anxiety-tinged “Dead Girl Walking” and the grandly romantic duet “Seventeen,” while ensemble pieces like the absurdly elegiac “The Me Inside of Me” and the debauched “Big Fun” revel in the dark humor that comes not only from Westerburg High’s increasing body count, but also from the more horrific moments of adolescence.

Parental Advisory: Explicit Lyrics.

This album is soooo VERY!

I am going corn nuts right now. I have been waiting for this since I heard about the show. And after seeing it. Wow. Just wow. This music is just beautiful and the talent is beyond extraordinary. Not only can I jam in my car every day but I can secretly wish I was a heather. Ahhhhh so happy for this.

Amazing Score

The next Legally Blonde, this is one of the BEST new musicals out there. Barrett Wilbert Weed is a goddess among men.

This is a must have for musical theatre fans!!!

I've been waiting forever for this album, and it is one of the best purchases I've made. The songs are catchy, well written and capture the essence of the show. Much of the dialogue is not cut which adds to the storyline that you can see played out in the album.
