Still awesome! ,

I'm speechless

I typically don't love jazz, but I am in awe of how Kamasi Washington makes it so accessible, especially on this album(ep?). Each song seems to be saying something meaningful without a single word. I'm a little confused by the repeated musical refrains from "Truth" playing in each song, but I can tell it was purposeful—and that it was not creative laziness. This release is cohesively spell-binding, chilling with a great message for the world today—that seems (to me) to be that no matter how much we disagree we must stay connected with each other, given the song's titles, especially "Truth," and
'Harmony of Difference.' Perhaps the greatest part of all this is that the music is speaking without a one lyric (like I said before). Am I the only hearing this?

More please...

Can’t wait to hear this one. However, I was expecting at least a three or four hour release. Jus kidding’. This man has so much music in him it must get out! Release the Kracken!
Kamasi and crew are the most exciting musical discovery in years! I am still bonkers over the Epic! A four hour masterpiece of musical chaos, beauty, passion, and funky music! Miles and Coltrane would be proud of this new gen jazz master’s body of work.

Awesome

All the tracks are gorgeously arranged like a case of two dozen perfect long stem roses. Any color; just beautiful to listen to and awesome.
