12 Songs, 51 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

Blessed with an amazing vocal range and a pop idol’s magnetism, Josh Groban has become one of classical pop’s most visible figures. His expressive, romantic croon spellbinds both pop and classical fans on equally emotional and technical levels, evident especially on All That Echoes, which is Mastered for iTunes. His recent albums like Awake and Illuminations have also seen Groban take on a stronger songwriting role, though never straying too far from the lush melodies that originally brought him so much attention.

Definitely different

I just listened to the whole album and I have to say I am not as thrilled as I have been in the past. I have loved almost everything he has ever done but I must admit I enjoy his Italian and Spanish songs the most. There are few of those on here. And Josh's version of one of my all time favorite songs, "Falling Slowly" by Glen Hansard did not compare to the original. I even think I liked Kris Allen's version better. I was jazzed to see that iTunes was letting us listen in advance for free, but now I am disappointed because it isn't as good as I had hoped. I kept waiting for it to get better, but it ended before I knew it...

Excellent Preview

I am so glad you can listen to the whole album on this streaming preview. I've been listening for the last few days and it gets better every time I listen to it. I wish iTunes had this available for every album, but not just for previews. I'd buy more music here if I could hear it just like this album.

Where has all the luster gone?

It's seems as though the older albums had more heart and feel to them. These new songs in this album and the last seem like he is trying to hard to make anything sound good. I want to hear the loud roaring voice he once projected, that can even bring anyone to tears. Josh, go back to the epic classical style.
