Hamartia Novembers Doom

I've always liked Novembers Doom when it comes to the riffs and arrangements, but the clean vocals remind me of Jack Skellington singing in The Nightmare Before Christmas. Listen to the song "Hamartia," and you might understand. The vocals just sound overly cheesy to me.

I'm a fan of novembers doom. Therefore, I know what all their albums sound like. Therefore, I'm not surprised by what Paul's voice has always sounded like. Therefore, I won't criticize what I am hearing for the first time. Yes, Paul's clean vocals sound different than others. BUT THAT IS WHAT SETS THEM APART from all other bands. I don't want to hear the same clean to death vocals from every band. This music clearly comes from the gloomy heart and that's what I love. The truth in Paul's voice. Fan for life!
