Still relevant!!!

Tracy Chapman is still as fresh sounding and relevant today as she was in the 80s and 90s. Sad that things still have not progressed far beyond what she sang about then. The divide between rich and poor has grown even deeper. We are still 'Talking About That Revolution.' That aside...no one sings a love song with the depth and emotion of Tracy. If you've listened to her music for years or are just discoering her, you will become entranced by her performaces!

Any fan of Tracy Chapman will love this go-to sampling of her most commercially sucessful hits and it is a good starting place for those who recently discovered her. The re-mastered songs sound much more crisp/ clean than the originals. Other songs worth checking out: The Times they are A-Changing, Change, So, I am Yours, Why?, This Time, Save a Place for Me, Paper & Ink. For anyone that likes low-tempo acoustic guitar music, smart lyrics with a smooth voice, Tracy Chapman is a go-to.
