Glory, Glory! Apathy Took Helm!

Editors’ Notes Since forming in 2014, the Ontarian sludge/doom duo Vile Creature has railed against oppression of all stripes while promoting a pro-LGBTQ and pro-vegan stance. The band’s third album, Glory, Glory! Apathy Took Helm!, sees drummer/vocalist Vic and guitarist/vocalist KW sawing off a trio of sprawling, crawling, and abrasive salvos before enlisting the angelic choir of Laurel Minnes and Minuscule alongside pianist Tanya Byrne (of Bismuth) for the alternately ethereal and caustic two-part title track.
