Great piece of Duran Duran history

It's so very awesome to be able to hear how the band sounded before Simon LeBon and his purple leopard print pants walked into their lives. Already knowing how much their sound has progressed from their debut in 1981 thru their most recent album in 2016, it's really cool to be able to hear where they were even before the labels and screaming fans came along.

I have to say I've had a good laugh at some of these other comments saying that this isn't Duran Duran simply because it was recorded before Simon joined the band. You guys do know they briefly had another singer (Stephen "Tin Tin" Duffy) prior to Simon too, right? Looks like there are some Duranies out there in need of a DD history lesson.

So amazing…a rare treat

Wow! Prior to Simon Le Bon was Andy Wickett, and they recorded these 4 songs. Not long after Andy left the band and Simon came on board. What an extraordinary treat it is to be able to hear these very very early Duran Duran songs. Wow!!!

A little perspective and a tantalizing beginning

For anyone balking because Simon isn't singing here, I say "Bollocks!" to them. There are John's awesome bass lines, Roger's energetic drumming, Nick's mysterious synths, and Andy's frenetic strumming. You may not like this singer as much, but then again, neither did they. :) Appreciate this for what it wrought: a desire to be even better, thus necessitating a different singer. Enter Mr. LeBon et voila, Perfection!
