Thank You from America

I’m a Boomer in the heart of Iowa, USA. When I was a kid growing up in the midwest suburbs, my happy homemaking mother played these tunes over and over on the record player while she cooked the pot roast, washed the laundry, and ironed my father’s shirts. She loved her life and these tunes remind me of her exceptional spirit. But it seems that only John Wilson and his Orchestra (implanted under the magnificent dome of Royal Albert Hall in London, England) knows how to arrange and perform these American musical gems in a fresh and vibrant way. Wish he’d make each of his summer performances at the Proms available on iTunes . . . while the Boomers can still bounce!
