Genius follows the life of the 20th century’s most famous thinker, Albert Einstein. Featuring a rigorous title theme by Hanz Zimmer and a score by Lorne Balfe (Inception, The Dark Knight Rises), the show’s soundtrack tends toward repetitive, interlocking patterns of strings and percussion that mimic the image of a mind at work (“Experiment,” “Everything Is Connected”), only to fall away into ambient washes of synthesizer (“Forbidden Love”).
