It's Gadd, but it's just o.k.

I really was stokked about this album when I heard parts of it over my local jazz station, but overall, it was just was just a "good" offering this time. That's a hard thing to say considering I think Steve Gadd is arguably one of the greatest drummers (if not the greatest) of our time. I liked the line-up with Goldings, but parts of it honestly put me to sleep. I guess I was expecting another "Live at The Voce" and it wasn't. The most interesting track was Africa. I still don't regret buying it because anything Gadd is worth having in my collection.

Fantastic in every sense

Musicianship, recording, soul, song writing, and that unmistakable Steve Gadd groove and sensitivity- love it.

Much Better Than I Thought

O.K., everybody kind of knows Steve Gadd- everything he does is great, but these collection of songs and the chemistry between them (they are the touring band for James Taylor) are second to none. I strongly recommend this CD.
