Teriffic blends

Great new album - reminds me a bit of some early Steely Dan and Blood, Sweat &Tears, with the combination of some jazzy horns and vocals, along with some other real instruments (not electronic) ! "Can't Buy a Thrill" line in "Nine O'Clock Friday" triggered the Steely Day connection...

Friday satisfies

A nice blend of great songwriting, equally as great playing and singing, and rhythmically toe tapping from beginning to end. To pick out 1 or 2 songs as favorites is unfair to the other 10 songs. Highlights: Bass solo in Jazz Life and Marc Kelso's keen sense of shuffle on Island Off The Coast Of America. Your highlights will be different because this whole album is a highlight from start to finish. Friday satifies on all levels.

Real/ For Dan lovers.

Sophisticated music played by real people on actual instruments. Novel concept.
