Harlem kicks a*s! This is some fantastic rockin' garage rock, the kind I haven't heard for years. Well written songs, god and often funny lyrics, killer guitars and drums, just all around a bad-a*s album. GET IT!

sounds like...

i first heard South Of France on Sirius XM U radio about the time the song first came out. I immediately downloaded the whole album because it reminded me of my former obsession, punk band, The Pixies. Now i actually enjoy them for not sounding like The Pixies, but for being Harlem, and being original. Free Drugs ;-) definitely has its own indie rock flair, but they aren't SO lo-fi you cant understand what they are saying. I say four stars, but then again i'm a very picky person. You would probably rate them 5.

What should we play next?

I saw harlem open for the dead weather at the Warfield in San Francisco in July 2010, when they came out I was like oh great another boy band then they started playing and I was like oh wow they're good they play with the amount of energy that rivals the sex pistols and play with the same amount of skill definitely buy both albums
