Best Cinematic Post-Rock album of 2015!

I've been a fan of Lights & Motion for about a year, when I somehow stumbled upon his previous albums "Reanimation" and "Save Your Heart." Both of those were so powerful and sweeping that I have to admit I was skeptical about the third album, "Chronicle." I wondered fretfully "Can he do it again? Or is it going to fall flat?"

Needless to say, he did it AGAIN.

"Chronicle" more than lives up to the hope and the hype, and it's clear he's not resting between albums. The tight melodies and sheer intensity of the songs are all present, and I was more than pleasantly surprised on a few of them. Some people might complain that the songs are repetitive or mimicking other post-rock bands, but I disagree. Lights & Motion has set the bar for a new standard in music, showing what can happen when excellent songwriting meets top-notch production.

Personal Favorites: Fireflies, Antlers, and Particle Storm

Atmospheric. Hopeful. Triumphant. These songs stir up so many emotions as I listen to them, becoming THE "go-to" album for when I want a soundtrack to my daily activities. So incredibly good!

I won't be surprised when I hear a handful of these songs being used in the TV and movie trailers of 2015-2016. Add it to your collection today!
