Thoughtful singer songwriter with lovely voice

Olivia Bray’s FIRE & ICE is a strong debut from a talented vocalist and songwriter. She has a wide range that can tell a story with an urgent intimacy and dynamics. (Listen to the seemingly effortless vocal leaps in the chorus of Square 1) The songs have a depth as well as singable hooks that demand repeat listens.

Fans of Taylor Swift, Sara Bareilles, Ed Sheeran will definately find a lot to love from this artist who easily fits into those playlists, but also has something all her own to say in her own way. Recommended.

Olivia Bray has created an album that perfectly illustrates love and loss-she totally killed it, too. Every single song on this album is INCREDIBLE and recommended. Some of my favorites are Fire and Ice, 1941, Square One and Linger. It's fabulous how Olivia can take a feeling, or a sentence, or a picture, and turn it into a great song. Most of the album is her beautiful voice and her piano--which she is playing at the same time-- but in Villain we get a song that follows sort of the edgy feel most artists strive for today. I first listened to Fire and Ice on YouTube six years ago when I Googled my own name (we share the same first name and yes, I Googled myself. Everyone does it) and it has been a part of every day of my life ever since. Listen to this album, it's just necessary.
