11 Songs, 43 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

Feed the Machine shows Chad Kroeger hasn’t lost his edge since his 2015 vocal-cord surgery. Kroeger and his band strip laptop emperors of their clothes on “Must Be Nice,” invoking nursery rhymes and Dr. Seuss. False prophets find a similar dressing down on the title track. “Silent Majority” shows the power in numbers and “Song on Fire” adds another cavernous Nickelback ballad to their trophy case.

Solid Album

People will give this album a 1 star without listening just because it's Nickelback...Haters gonna hate.

This album though is pretty solid. Lots of fantastic guitar riffs mixed with Chad's lyrics.

For The River and Must Be Nice are two of my favorite songs on the album.

This album reminds me of a mix of Dark Horse and The Long Road.

A must have for any NB fan, or anyone who enjoys rock music.

Love the singles Song on Fire and Feed the Machine! The rest of the record will be just as great! I can tell!

Back on track with their rock roots

As a longtime NB fan, I have to admit that the last album was their first swing-and-miss. Thankfully, it sounds like they noticed that as well and have returned to what makes them great. The lead singles, Feed the Machine (a chugging, thunderous rocker) and Song on Fire (a radio-friendly ballad) have me all sorts of fired up for this record. I have no doubts we're going to get an album in the vein of "Dark Horse" and can't wait to hear them rock once more. Keep it up!
