I've fallen hard for this stuff.

the last time i fell so hard was almost 4 years ago. that was Gomez (check out their 1st or 3rd studio albums to get into them). anyway, i think tracks 4, 5, and 7 are the most accessible for the unsure Tunng listener, so grab those and let them sink into your bones. for the record, the 30 second clips on iTunes hardly manage to do these songs much justice. the scope of each song is too large. each track contains so much instrumental and lyrical growth that every run around the proverbial block reveals new sounds and new meanings.

note: iTunes has two album releases here. the only difference between them is track 3. i prefer Out the Window With the Window (i have no idea what's with their sloppy punctuation here). i've checked the band's website to be sure of track titles and such - www.tunng.co.uk - you can download a couple tracks there too, Tale from Black amongst them.

Magically Delicious...

This CD has finally made it's way into my regular playlist of music... It serves as a great mood enhancing CD. Funny thing is regardless of the mood it helps to enhance it. Although most of the music follows a general genre and can be traced back to the group and no one else it has great sound and the vocals are potent for the type of music. I am impressed and this is coming from a person who spends their time investigating music without restrictions, therefore I experience a wide range of music...and this is good. I suggest that anyone who has listened to and appreciated Vetiver, and Interpol check this group out.
