Cowboy Mouth live is almost the only way.

Cowboy Mouth is such a great high-energy band. They have such a presence that even their studio recordings are bursting with enough energy to light up a city. Unfortunately the static nature of studio recording just doesn't capture the true power of Cowboy Mouth, that being front man/drummer Fred LeBlanc, Guitarists John Thomas Griffith and Paul Sanchez, and then bassist Mary LaSang's ability to work the crowd into a frenzy of energy and celebration. Short of seeing a live show, Live at the Zoo is one of the best ways to hear Cowboy Mouth. From the crowd singing along with Light it on Fire, the fun of Everybody Loves Jill and Hurricane Party (don't forget to bring your red spoons and tootsie rolls), and on to Jenny Says (a 3:22 track in studio that becomes a 7:58 event of crowd participation, a true sight to behold live) this album provides great music, driving beats, and memorable lyrics that will have you singing along every time. Every track is worth a listen and the album as a whole gives the listener a good glimpse into one of the greatest must see stage bands ever.

Come back to Atlanta soon Cowboy Mouth!

Cowboy Mouth...At the Zoo

Simply Amazing! I'm usually sceptical of live albums, but not since Cheap Trick's Budokan has the energy of the crowd poured through into the mix, pulling the at-home listener into the frenzy --- which best describes a Cowboy Mouth concert! The music, sound quality is great. This is a must-have for anyone pondering the present and future of rock 'n roll. Believe me, it'll save your soul!
