Worth the Wait

My first review ever….Waited 6 months for this. Cursory listening confirms my expectations! Amazing group of musicians. If you Like Part 1 you'll love this. New BBT- makes even a crappy Monday brighter!

Big Big Success

It takes some bands a few years to reach their full potential - Pulp famously took around 17 before "Common People" made them a global phenomenon - such is the case with Big Big Train, founded in 1990 and with this (and 2012's English Electric Part 1), making the best work of their career. Wearing their influences on their sleeves, the band create wonderful stories of English life, from field to factory floor, utilizing strings and (crucially for this northern boy raised in a mining community) beautiful brass to augment already formidable musicianship. This is probably going to be my album of the year - buy it an revel in a band at the top of its game.

The Cream of Prog

I am not new to Big Big Train...but this disc is absolutely OUTSTANDING! Their songwriting keeps getting better and better and the musicianship is impeccable. I wish they do a Part III, I will buy it instantly. AWESOME!!!!!!
