Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway

Barbra calls on some famous friends for a charming take on Broadway standards. And as ever with the singer/songwriter/actress/icon, there’s no little wit and mischief. She’s aided and abetted by a glittering (and marvelously diverse) supporting cast who often engage in warm pre-song prattle—the gentle bickering with Melissa McCarthy on “Anything You Can Do,” for example, is a delight.
