Long anticipated....excellent Debut CD

Eagerly anticipated, this debut Solo CD by Ryan Kelly is an essential addition to anyone’s collection that enjoys a little funky pop with just a touch of Broadway flavouring as well as Ryan’s introspection into his faith. All the songs except for “Broken Things” were written by Ryan, which in itself is a testament to his talent and dedication to his art. The stand out for me will probably always be “Not Far Apart” which is a song that touched my heart when I heard it originally in the acoustic version on his MySpace page. “Heaven Bound” is another song that tears at the soul in another way speaking of the loss of innocence. Changing gears a massive fan favourite is, I am sure, “The Village That They Call ‘The Moy’”, as this is one many of his fans have longed to hear professionally recorded. “Secret Bit of Right From Wrong” is also another joy to hear, this was one that none of us had heard before. I look forward to Ryan cutting more CDs for his fans. This CD does really encompass everything in life: Joy, heartbreak, death, living and love enjoy listening to his Debut CD. We look forward to more music from Mr. Kelly in the future.
